This position requires an individual willing to coordinate the assimilation of new volunteers into the
ministries and services at Hannah House. After obtaining a working knowledge of the ministries and services at Hannah
House, the individual would work with prospective new volunteers to insure they begin serving in their area of
interest and skill.
Requirements
- Working with Hannah House Director and other individuals in leadership positions, identify the areas of
ministry that have the greatest need for new volunteers, and prepare the ?ministry needs list?;
- Review the information sheets of potential new volunteers to identify their unique skills and abilities and
match them to current ministry needs;
- Contact the potential volunteers to discuss volunteer opportunities for ministry and try to match their
areas of interest with the needs of the ministry;
- Provide information to the leader of the ministry area where the volunteer desires to serve in order that
the new prospect might be welcomed into the ministry and given proper training;
- Update the ?ministry needs list? weekly to assure all ministry leaders know the total needs within the
ministry.
