Invest in the lives of children by volunteering one or more hours per week. The childrenÂ?s success in 
academics, especially reading and math, depends on individual attention.

S.A.Y. Yes Pico Union is looking for academic tutors with proficiencies in all subjects. (especially math and 
reading) We have two centers, one for our elementary students and another only a block and a half away for our 
teens. Our centers are open from 3PM to 6:30PM Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. Hours are flexible as long 
as you can serve sometime within those time slots.

 Requirements 

We do require that our tutors serve in person at least one hour per week. Since we serve children and their 
families, we do perform background checks on all of our volunteers and staff members.
