Join us for Truthseekers' Thanksgiving in India Footwashing Rallies

November 18-26, 2011

Not that long ago, it was illegal for a lower-caste person to touch or even allow their shadow to fall upon a 
higher-caste person in India.  While no longer illegal, this rigid physical segregation is still very much in 
force.

Jesus showed us how to overcome barriers like this.  He knelt down and washed the feet of His disciples.  For 
the past four years, Truthseekers has modeled the example of Jesus each November.  At our footwashing rallies, 
held in lower-caste neighborhoods, we tangibly express God's love as we wash the feet of the oppressed and 
abused.

We will be taking a group of Westerners to India November 18-26, 2011 to continue the footwashing rallies that 
have been so successful the past several years, and you're invited!

Here are the essential details:

Sign up by Friday September 23, 2011

Space:  Limited to a maximum of 30 persons. Individuals, families with children, and teams/groups are all 
welcome. 

Cost:     $1,195* + airfare to and from U.S. per person.  Price includes lodging, food, in-country travel, 
program, and a group excursion.  Your fees also help to cover the costs of the footwashing rallies and support the 
ongoing work of the Truthseekers team in India.

Sunday November 20                          Orientation and preparation

Mon - Wed November 21 - 23              Footwashing Rallies

Thursday November 24                       Immersion Delhi excursion,      Indian Thanksgiving dinner

Friday November 25                            Final debrief, Souvenir shopping, Celebration dinner, Depart for 
airport

Saturday November 26                       Return to U.S.

*Optional add-on:  For an additional $100 per person, you can add one more day on your trip for a Taj Mahal 
excursion.  You would visit the Taj Saturday November 26 and depart Delhi late that night November 26, or early 
am November 27, returning to the U.S. on Sunday November 27.

A non-refundable deposit of $100 per person is required by Friday September 23 to secure your place.  You can

Can't join us in November?  We also take footwashing groups every March.  The price and number of days for the 
trip are the same as in November.  Our March 2012 trip is scheduled for March 10 - 18, 2012.
