Cradle of Hope for Relief and Development (CHRAD) is a registered Non Governmental Organization established and operating at the Buduburam Refugees Settlement in the Central Region - Ghana. It is committed to Capacity Building of the underprivileged / disadvantaged in society with focus on refugeeÂ’s general welfare. Over the years, CHRAD has been engaged on psychosocial counseling of refugees to deepen their culture of patriotism and initiating drives to promote and uphold self-reliance, self-determination, self-esteem and self-worth particularly among the youth with special focus on young women on a one to one basis. CHRAD also organized workshops on Intelligence and Multiple Intelligence for Parents and Teachers to provide them with the relevant skills needed to identify and improve upon childrenÂ’s specific intelligence with the hope of building on their social, physical, emotional and intellectual growth within the RefugeesÂ’ Community. Taking into consideration the high level of patronage of its services and coupled with the desire to improve the social status of the students at the settlement, CHRAD is advertising for Volunteers to teach school children from Elelmentary up to high school.
