 Description

Our ESL program teaches non-native English speakers basic survival language skills in order to improve their 
life in the United States. A substitute teacher would provide instruction to a class of up to 20 students. 
Duties include: teaching an hour and a half lesson, answering questions, creating conversation, and interacting with 
non-native English speakers.

 Requirements 

This is an on-call position and may be needed with very little notice. However, lesson planning is not a part 
of this position, as the full-time teachers will prepare all substitute plans. Our classes meet Monday to 
Friday from 8:30 to 10:00 a.m. You do *not* need to speak Chinese in order to do this position. Also, previous 
teaching experience is desirable, although it is not required.
