Description

We are hiring philanthropy and fundraising students for part-time work. Our team previously created ChangingThePresent.org, which helps nonprofits capture some of the $250 billion Americans spend each year buying traditional presents, just as Heifer International does. It does so by making donations, made in a friend's name, feel more like a gift: tangible charitable opportunities, personalized greeting cards, wish lists and registries. The site has attracted hundreds of leading nonprofits; people love the experience; and the NY Times referred to it as an "amazon.com of the nonprofit world." The one limitation is this: many nonprofits are reluctant to send supporters to a site where they will see - and may give - to other nonprofits. We are therefore now offering nonprofits what is essentially a white-label version of the site. They will get all that functionality, but within their own silo so that their supporters are not exposed to other nonprofits. Please see the introduction at http://GiftsForHumanity.org. We are looking for students to help market this to nonprofits. Compensation is performance-based: $75 for each nonprofit you get to sign up. Our office is near Penn Station in Manhattan, but you can also work remotely. If you are interested, please send a resume and cover letter to the email address below. Thank you very much! Best wishes, Robert Robert Tolmach Founder and CEO GiftsForHumanity.org rtolmach@GiftsForHumanity.org http://GiftsForHumanity.org
