Description

To Mentor youth in Los Padrinos Juvenile hall in Downey Ca. on a weekly of bi-weekly basis. These youth are from the ages of 11-18. We will be going into Ventura California Youth Authority once a month for 4 hours to mentor youth the ages of 16-21. Matfa has a team of volunteers and victims going into Soledad Correctional Training Facility each quater to train lifers to mentor the young men coming in as tried as adults, These men are now able to go before parole to get a second chance at freedom. The requirements of being a mentor is to love people and forgive those who are less fortunate than you. We service everyone no matter their belief. We are Christians but this not a requirement to share with others.
