Give Rides, Change Lives! Volunteer drivers are needed for Sound Generations' Volunteer Transportation program. Using your own vehicle, you would help older adults maintain their independence and quality of life by taking them to much needed medical appointments. Clients greatly appreciate their improved access to medical care, meaningful interactions with caring volunteers, and increased peace of mind. Unfortunately, the program does not have enough drivers to meet the growing demand for transportation from King County seniors. Put yourself in the driver's seat! Make a difference in the lives of seniors near you by becoming a volunteer driver. This opportunity is extremely FLEXIBLE, allowing volunteers to pick the days, times, frequency, and areas they wish to drive. Help more seniors get "on the road" to improved health and peace of mind by becoming a volunteer today! For more information call us at 206-748-7588 or visit our website at https://soundgenerations.org/get-help/transportation/volunteer/ "You have done wonders for my life. I would not have been able to stay in my own home for as long as I have without your help. Thank you for all you do." Jeanne, 84 Requirements: Must have a valid driver's license, a clean driving record, and daytime availability. **Note: WE NEED DRIVERS THROUGHOUT KING COUNTY!! You would drive seniors who live near your home, so the address listed here is inaccurate.
