Description

Community Threads is an upscale thrift store selling quality goods at low prices to customers who rely on thrift to stay out of poverty. Store profits go to help the homeless and abused and provides scholarships to needy students. You will also be part of an important recycling and conservation effort by keeping used goods out of our overflowing landfills. We also support local animal shelters and libraries. The store has many different roles for volunteers. We will help you find the role that fits you the best and provide training. Volunteers receive ongoing support when they serve. Many different service days and times are available to fit every schedule. Community Threads has given away over $1,000,000.00 in grants to our local community to provide shelter for the abused and homeless, support addiction recovery programs and other critical services. Conveniently located in Arlington Heights, IL. Flexible drop in hours Monday-Friday 10-6pm Saturday 10-7 Sunday Closed General cleaning that keeps the store beautiful for our customers so that they have a great experience from start to finish! We serve our customers with low prices and a clean environment. Community Threads is 100% nonprofit and supports the local community through programs and financial grants that alleviate poverty and promote education. We need your help!
