Description

Seeking a professional, part-time Grant Writer for First Foundation Kids, Inc.'s development team. This individual will be responsible for writing youth development program grants, raising our profile in the corporate, foundation, and government communities, and increasing our funding from these key sources. In partnership with the Executive Director (ED) and Director of Development (DOD), this position is responsible for grant research and writing, and proposal submissions primarily in the Georgia region, but also nationally. Importantly, this individual will expand and diversify the Computer Lab Center donor base/pipeline and work to secure funding from new sources. Responsibilities ?Build new relationships with the corporate, foundation, and government communities. ?Develop and expand a corporate and foundation donor pipeline through research, identification, and evaluation of prospects. ?Prepare compelling letters of inquiry, proposals, and grant applications, with special attention to incorporating details of the history, mission statement, future goals and targets of the organization. ?Create and implement a plan that tracks solicitation process, and reflects conversion of prospective donors to actual donors.
