If you have a love for sports and a little sporting ability, then you could play an important part in the personal development of young sports men and women in Ghana. Our sports projects include soccer or football, basketball, net ball coaching in schools and communities. Volunteer Sports Coaching Placement takes you on a sport coaching which can have a very positive impact on children. As well as the obvious physical and mental benefits that regular exercise provides, there are many inherent life-skills to be learnt, such as the importance of team-work, communication and discipline. Wherever you travel in the world you will always find people who love sports. Sports bring people together and help to build strong communities, as well as contribute to the creation of healthy, happy individuals. Sports can also provide a much-needed distraction from more negative aspects of people?s lives and, to many people from disadvantaged backgrounds, it can offer a route out of poverty and a path of excitement and promise. Sports projects share the following aims;Fostering of local sports talent through provision of quality coaches and support for our volunteer trainee coaches. Development of the wider communities in which we work through offering alternatives to young people from impoverished areas, Inclusion - making sports available to all. As a volunteer coach Sports Project, you will be helping with all these aspects of development while working with the most enthusiastic people in some of the poorest communities in Ghana, we can help you make the most of your time. We will help you find a schedule that is right for you. You could be learning more about your sport in the morning and organizing a game in the afternoon. Volunteer sports coaches are responsible for helping in the organization in all aspects of training; from setting up drills and fitness sessions, to coaching sports teams in competitive games. VOLUNTEER AND INTERNS GET THE WEEKENDS OFF TO GO ON TRIPS AND EXPLORE GHANA; Ghana has so much to offer volunteers with its rich culture, festivals, food, art & craft centers, castles & forts, long sandy beaches, national parks, water falls, rain forest and other interesting places to visit. Volunteers who come to Ghana experience these even more fully by getting an insider's understanding of the country. Every weekend we organize trips for our volunteers to travel throughout Ghana to experience the Ghanaian cultural and explore. As a volunteer you have to buy your own flight ticket to Ghana, All our project placements are totally free including accommodation transportation from the airport, orientation and 24 hour support from our staff. You will be staying in our volunteer house with other volunteers from all over the world, this is an opportunity for you to make new friends and interact, and the volunteer houses are located in very safe areas in Ghana. We have a volunteer coordinator, who will be responsible for you and the other volunteers, your well-being while volunteering with us is our priority. We make sure your trip is safe and our in-country coordinator will provide whatever support you may need at any step along the way. The only cost involve in this project is your food, we have a cook in the volunteer house who prepares three meals a day for all the volunteer, If you are a vegetarian or have any allergies this is taken into account when we arrange your placement. Volunteers pay a flat rate of 350 each for two weeks or a month for three meals a day, the cost also covers your laundry, drinking water, toiletries and wireless internet access 24-hours a day in the volunteer house so that you can keep in touch with friends and family back home, Our aim is to provide cheap and affordable volunteer opportunity to people like you so that you can help make a difference in the lives of the less fortunate in Africa.

All our projects runs throughout the year so you can volunteer with us any time of the year that is suitable for you, for a minimum of two weeks and a maximum of one year, all we need is people with the passion and wiliness to help people who are less fortunate than themselves. VOLUNTEER GET THE WEEKENDS OFF TO GO ON TRIPS AND EXPLORE GHANA; Ghana has so much to offer volunteers with its rich culture, festivals, food, art & craft centers, castles & forts, long sandy beaches, national parks, water falls, rain forest and other interesting places to visit. Volunteers who come to Ghana experience these even more fully by getting an insider's understanding of the country. Every weekend we organize trips for our volunteers to travel throughout Ghana to experience the Ghanaian cultural and explore. We have a lot of projects all over Ghana so you can choose to volunteer in the capital city Accra or in the Ghanaian country side. Our program is an excellent opportunity to combine adventurous foreign travel with a worthwhile job as a volunteer. You will improve your transferable skills such as team-working, presentation and communication. Above all, this is an unrivaled opportunity to gain an insight into a completely different culture and way of life. Our projects are not all about work, volunteers get opportunities to explore this beautiful part of West Africa. Elmina and Cape Coast Castle, Kakum National Park and Nzulezo Stilt Village are all within few hours from the community you will be staying in, Ghana offers an array of varying cultures and landscapes including national parks and stunning rain-forests. As a volunteer you have to buy your own flight ticket to Ghana, we are a local NGO with limited financial resources. All our project placements are totally free including accommodation transportation from the airport, orientation and 24 hour support from our staff. You can choose to stay with a local host family or stay in our volunteer house with 16-other volunteers from all over the world, this is an opportunity for you to make new friends and interact, and the volunteer houses are located in very safe areas in Ghana. We have volunteer coordinators, who will be responsible for you and the other volunteers, your well-being while volunteering with us is our priority. We make sure your trip is safe and our in-country coordinators will provide whatever support you may need at any step along the way.

There is no any hidden cost, apart from the $350 for your three meals a day. You only pay for your food when you arrive in Ghana and start your project.40% of the money you are paying for food goes to feeding and educating the children in our orphanages.
