ESL In-home Tutor, World Relief DuPage, Wheaton, Illinois

 Description

Be an ESL in-home tutor. You will be matched with a refugee or immigrant to help them learn English. Tutors 
meet at the studentÂ?s house and commit to meeting for 2 hours once a week. You will help teach reading and 
writing and practice speaking and listening. Training is provided. No previous ESL experience necessary. Knowledge 
of another language is NOT necessary.

 Requirements 

- 2 hours per week, 6 month commitment
- Completion of training
- Patience, cross-cultural sensitivity, flexibility, ability to encourage, and desire to teach English.
