Description

The volunteer will be working in Environmental Conservation organization in rural and urban areas. His/her duties will include educating local fishermen on Marine life conservation and eco system, teaching people on importance of National Heritage Preservation,compilation, collection and documentation of historical data, assist in administrative work et.c. Volunteers with experience in Environmental knowledge especially (Marine Life), experience in Cultural and Sociology studies ( African Culture) are required Volunteers with experience in Heritage preservation are required Volunteers with experience and knowledge in Environmental issues, Marine conservationist Biologists are required Knowledge of English is compulsory. We encourage groups of volunteers to apply. The Project location is in Kwale/Mombasa and Malindi Work is 8 hours a day, weekends are free. Accommodation and meals is at a selected host family, transport from Nairobi to the location by public transport, Airport pick up is provided. Orientation will be done at Pamoja Office to explain to the volunteer to inform about Kenya, work, location, what is expected of you or what you expect from the hospital and all payments including commitment and program fee will be paid in the offices during orientation.
