Counselor/staff, Camp New Dawn, Chickamauga, Georgia

 Description

Serve as camp counselor and/ or staff for six weeks in the summer. Counselors stay in cabins with campers and 
lead them to a closer walk with Christ, to make camp an enjoyable experience and be a friend and mentor.

Staff positions include nurse, music leader, life guard, class instructors in nature, marksmanship, missions, 
pure living, crafts, adventure activities, cooking, wood working, etc.

 Requirements 

Exhibit a growing walk with Christ.  Background and drug checks. Attend orientation and stay to wrap up after 
camp weeks end. Positions such as nurse and lifeguard require appropriate and current certification. 

Experience working with children and/or youth helpful.

Provide travel to site.

Must be at least 18 years of age.

References from people who have done Short Term Missions with this organization before are available upon

Cost varies according to distance individual travels to site and personal activity on weekends. 

Will be using two males and two females as counselors/staff.  Nurse may help with other activities but will 
not be a counselor.

We would benefit from pure volunteering--we provided room and board only.
