Description

To aid in the preparation and serving of meals To help maintain and keep kitchen as sanitary as possible To Staff emergency shelter as needed Assist kitchen Supervisor Prepare meals based on planned menu Supervise volunteers Help with the intake of in-kind donations Maintain inventory of in for emergency shelter as needed

Requirements

Requirements: at least 18 years old; high school degree or working toward equivalent (GED); must a U.S. citizen, U.S. national or lawful permanent resident alien in US or have a valid student visa. To fulfill this requirement, students with no current involvement with a rescue mission or other approved organization may participate in a one-year "on-the-job" training experience. Interns are assigned to training missions that are members in good standing of the Association of Gospel Rescue Missions, or to other approved ministries.

Work with the entire mission staff as a team member. Work with Volunteers as needed Incorporate the philosophy of Morning Star Mission in every aspect,whether dealing with staff, residents or donor. Fill any position as required. Related duties as assigned.
