Description
Bresee Foundation is in the heart of Koreatown: the most densely populated area in L.A. with the highest
unemployment rate. Help expose the students at the Bresee Community Center to worlds they've never seen before!
Share your talents (in art, technology, cooking, dance, graphic design, financial literacy, literacy, samba,
poetry, etc.) with our middle and high school students. Bresee services at-risk youth through our programs,
relationships, and volunteers!
Through your workshop you can help our underserved students learn about the opportunities available to them.
Workshops run either one-time or in 8-week sessions for one day per week for 1 hour, on either Mondays,
Wednesdays, or Thursdays from 5:30-6:30pm. Instructors would need to be at all classes (as possible) while assistants
or guest instructors could come less frequently - maybe teaching a specific component of a larger class. To
teach an 8-week workshop, adults must pass background check.
