Mission Statement

To visualize, develop, propose, and facilitate, community activities in concert with all appointed committees that garner "public good will" and active participation for Coopertown residents and visitors and its neighboring communities.

Description

The Community Development Committee is a group of volunteers that works alongside the small town staff of City Hall. Our main family-friendly, community event has become the Coopertown Barrel Festival, which is not only the sole fundraiser for our town, but also a catalyst for reuniting, restoring, and reviving our community. The majority of organizations that come alongside our committee in support of this event are Christian.
