Mission Statement
To provide an alternative after-school program that will facilitate and promote education, empowerment, self-esteem and spirituality for the youth of Sun Valley. Through the services of the SVYC we hope to link and transform the church, home, and school communities of Sun Valley.
Description
The Sun Valley Youth Center is an after-school program in the inner-city of west Denver. We are open Mon-Fri from 3-7 pm. We provide 1:1 tutoring/mentoring, group tutoring, arts and crafts, sports and recreation, 1:1 and group counseling, computer classes, and snacks.
