Mission Statement

Our ministry is three fold: we provide hospitality and a healing environment for displaced Hispanic people who are poor, homeless, and oppressed; we partner with our neighbors to make our community a better place to live; and we engage in educational and social action activities concerning social justice issues related to our ministry.

Description

Su Casa gives hospitality to homeless Latino families, reaches out to its neighborhood on Southside Chicago and works for social justice. Following the footsteps of Dorothy Day, our workers are committed to living and working among the poor and to building a prayerful community that lives a simple and nonviolent lifestyle.
