Mission Statement

"To provide a safe community where the hungry can find food, a friendly face, and hope for the future."

Description

We are a daily soup kitchen, offrering a free, no-questions-asked lunch to all who enter. Food offered are hearty soups, breads, and water and coffee. All who enter will eat family-style, allowing them to build relationships. Those who eat will be asked to help clean up after themselves and will be given a granola packet as they leave. The kitchen will be open 11am - 2pm Monday - Friday. Thanksgiving meals are planned.

Organizational Statement of Faith

We believe in the whole counsel of God, as stated in the Bible. Salvation is found in Jesus alone, but our faith will be shared only by the love we show for all. This kind of faith will be irresistable and contagious. Few people are interested in a faith that only speaks of a life after death... they want to know life before death.
