Mission Statement

To bring Health, Healing and Hope to Baltimore.

Description

The Samaritan Women is a Christian nonprofit enterprise of five distinct, but related, ministries located in Baltimore City and serving the needs of individuals, groups, and the community at large: 1. The Samaritan Women Residence is a Christian transitional residence for women in recovery and seeking a fresh start. 2. Our Event Center provides a venue for church groups and nonprofits to hold meetings, events, retreats and includes a 1.5-acre Spiritual Garden. 3. The Samaritan Women Gardens includes a 2 acre organic farm growing produce to support local farmer's markets, shelters and families in nutritional poverty. 4. The Samaritan Church is our urban mission field in an impoverished neighborhood. Here we do street outreach and special events to bring the light of Christ into this devastated area. 5. Our Social Justice initiative seeks to create awarenes and mobilize the Church to respond to the evil of human trafficking.
