The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of teh universal Christian Church. Its message is based on the Bible. Its ministry is motivated by the love of God. Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination.

The Salvation Army is a Christian based non-profit who helps those in need. Our Church, The Salvation Army Corps is open to the public, we invite you to come worship with us on Sundays at 11:00 am. We offer Social Services, Feed the whomsoever needs a meal at the Community Kitchen 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Run a Family Store which is stocked from the communities donations and 100% of the proceeds go back into Social Services to help fund the programs and services. Operate The Red Shield Men’s Lodge and Sally’s House- An Emergency Shelter for Women and Women with Children; Fresh Start Center- a Pre Prison Release Program, and William and Catherine Booth Gardens Apartments, a community serving senior citizens and those with Federally Defined Disabilities.
