Mission Statement

Rehoboth Christian School challenges its students to know the Triune God and equips them to love, serve and transform the world in His name.

Description

Rehoboth Christian School is very unique, as it is on it's own campus just outside of Gallup, NM. Rehoboth Christian School was founded in 1903 by the Christian Reformed Church as a boarding school for Native American students and a ministry to the Native American peoples of the Four Corners region. A day school now, Rehoboth continues its ministry through education with multiculturalism as a backdrop, serving approximately 70% Native American students, 20% Anglo students, and 10% students of Hispanic descent and other ethnic minorities. Rehoboth's student body is both ethnically and economically diverse. Approximately 40% of Rehoboth students come from very low-income and poverty-level families. A Rehoboth education helps students develop confidence, competence, and compassion. Rehoboth is committed to building students up not only intellectually, but also spiritually and emotionally, helping them grow into mature Christians who approach the world with a healthy perspective and the skills necessary for living in it. Rehoboth teaches students to serve willingly, to appreciate the diversity of God's world, and to know the importance of achieving personal excellence for God's glory.
