Mission Statement


Port St Johns Youth Ministry offer information and support across a wide range of issues and topics to empower youth in the community of Port St Johns and grow healthy, level headed future leaders. Goals To assist schools and families by creating prevention programmes for children who are at risk. (behavioral Monitoring and Reinforcement Program) To provide matriculatents with the environment and tools to succeed in the world of work and higher education institutions.and provide study aid programmes and career choices. Referral related information To provide individuals with guidance so that they can use their talents and meet their potential and reflect a biblical view.

Port St Johns Youth ministry targets non-Christian and Christian young people, both in and out of schools. Youth is aimed at the ages between 12 – 19 years of age. Port St Johns Youth Ministry see a school as the institute that caters for the whole community, different cultures, and religions. Our first step when enterering the school premises, we assess the overall function of a child from conduct disorder, oppositional defiant, learning difficulties and school failure. In a School base sessions we act as mediator and facilitator between the school and family. In most cases we examine cultural and racial concerns in our way of helping the two parties to find the viable solution .
