Organizational Statement of Faith

I believe the Holy Bible to be the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God, without error in the original writings. (II Timothy 3:16) I believe in one God, creator of all things, infinitely perfect and eternally existing in three Persons: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit (John 10:30, John 1:3, Matt. 28:19) I believe that by one man, Adam, sin entered the world; that for salvation of lost and sinful men, regeneration by the Holy Spirit through repentance and faith in our LORD Jesus Christ is absolutely essential. (Romans 5:12, Genesis 3:6, Luke 24:47, Ephesians 2:8) I believe in the deity and virgin birth of our LORD Jesus Christ, that He died upon the cross as a substitutionary sacrifice by the shedding of His blood for my sins and the sins of the world; that He arose from the dead and ascended into heaven to sit at the right hand of God the Father, whence He will return with power and glory. (John 1:3, Matt. 1:18, 23, Acts 20:28, Hebrews 9:22, Mark 16:19, 1 Peter 3:22) I believe that by grace I have been saved through faith, and that not of myself, it is the gift of God, not as a result of works, that I may not boast. (Ephesians 2:8-9) I believe in life after death, that there shall be a resurrection of the dead, both of the just and the unjust. (Acts 24:15) I believe in the resurrection of the saved into everlasting life in heaven, and the resurrection of the lost, or unsaved, into eternal punishment. (John 5:29)
