We serve and mobilize the Church to live out God's heart for the poor, so all can grow in Christ and multiply 
spiritually.
	
 Description

Believing that followers of Christ are called to care for the needy, we envision:  Every Christian engaged in meeting 
the physical and spiritual needs of the poor, transforming communities where all people are experiencing hope and justice.



In light of this vision, a major thrust for HLIC is:  To see churches mobilize their people so that every Christian 
becomes a multiplying follower of Jesus Christ who is engaged in meeting the needs of the poor.



HLIC Bakersfield seeks to provide help and resources to churches which desire to impact their communities, by equipping 
the poor and less fortunate of Kern County and surrounding area to be self-sufficient and able to give back to their 
communities.
