Volunteer at The Harbor! 



Alexian Brothers The Harbor, located in Waukegan, IL, is currently seeking volunteers to fill positions at our 
front desk. The individual in this position is responsible for answering phones, greeting visitors, and making 
public address announcements. Due to the nature of the position, there is a high level of interaction with 
residents and staff. A unique and fun way to get involved with a fantastic organization. 



We are in search of volunteers who can fill gaps in our current schedule and those who could volunteer on an 
Â?on-callÂ? basis. These positions normally work 4 hour shifts between 8:00am and 
4:00pm during the week. This is a wonderful opportunity for retired individuals. 



Alexian Brothers The Harbor, a 24-month transitional living program for men and women living with HIV/AIDS 
focuses on residents becoming independent and self-sufficient. A non-profit organization, The Harbor, founded in 
l998 and located at 826 North Avenue in Waukegan, provides comprehensive services to its residents that include 
case management, recovery support services, occupational therapy/life skills, spiritual care, and aftercare. 
70% of residents of The Harbor graduate to independent living within their 24 month stay at the house.
