Volunteers play a crucial role in the life of Urban Homeworks. Volunteering on an Urban Homeworks site is more
than just a day to do ?something good.? It is time spent reweaving a tapestry of community that crosses
boundaries and teaches us something about ourselves. While the activity is practical and essential to the progress of
our work, true ?community development? centers around relationships. This is a great place for you or your
group to start engaging in perpetuating the hope!
Requirements
We need your help.
We typically encourage a group of 12 -15 people who are at least high school age or older, although if you're
looking for an opportunity to do on your own, we welcome you!
We need all skill levels.
Anybody with a desire to make a difference and get their fingers dirty is invited to play a role. Painters,
carpenters, cleaners, electricians, AND people who can help in the office are encouraged to connect with our
staff to engage even deeper in the activity of Urban Homeworks.
Please go to www.urbanhomeworks.org (volunteer tab) for more details about reserving a date for your group.
Saturdays and Summer dates fill up fast. We encourage you to reserve a date soon.
