 Description

The Patronato Nacional de Rehabilitacion is an institution that cares for people with some type of disability 
and that in some way or another, either do not have a family, or have been abandoned. They serve the disabled 
children and adults that in someway or another are orphans. This placement requires volunteer because this 
rehabilitation centre treats people with disabilities of all ages who have been abandoned by their families or who 
have no family. The centre needs all the help they can get to keep the place running and give the patients the 
treatment they deserve. Because these patients have no family, any extra attention and help will make a huge 
impact on their lives. Volunteers who have a background in nursing and a good grasp of Spanish will be able to 
interact with patients and provide care.

 Requirements 

Volunteers must be of age 18 or above with minimum education of high school. Volunteers with the following 
special skills are preferred for the placement:-

Doctor

Nurse

Medical Student

Pre-Med Student

Standard First-Aid

Health & Hygiene Training

Public Health

References from people who have done Short Term Missions with this organization before are available upon
