Oaxaca City, Oaxaca, Mexico Short Term Mission Trip, , Oaxaca City, Mexico |

The southern state of Oaxaca, Mexico is famous for its natural beauty and large population of indigenous people groups. It is also among the poorest regions in North America. Three out of four people lack access to basic necessities like food, water, education and healthcare. Most indigenous people in Oaxaca, Mexico live in dirt-floor huts. They are extremely vulnerable to disease caused by the bacteria-infested ground they live on. You will pour concrete floors (called pisos), help build simple cement block homes, and improve the water system to help provide clean water while offering hope and encouragement to the families through your relationships. Through your simple acts of kindness, you will give hope to the families of Oaxaca!
