C.A.R.E.S. Volunteer Drivers, Catholic Charities of Eastern Virginia, Inc., Virginia Beach, Virginia

 Description

Community Assistance and Resource for Seniors (C.A.R.E.S.), an interfaith volunteer caregiver program, is in 
need of volunteers to assist elderly clients in Chesapeake, Norfolk, Portsmouth, and Virginia Beach with 
transportation needs. Destinations include medical appointments, grocery stores, pharmacies, banks, and superstores. 
Volunteers can accept or decline assignments as their schedules allow. 
This opportunity is great for anyone seeking experience working in human services or with older adults.

 Requirements 

Volunteers must be at least 18 years, have clean criminal background check, and driving records. Volunteers 
must also have a desire to help others. An orientation and training are required prior to volunteering. (Criminal 
background check is paid for by Catholic Charities)
