Description

The Bridges To Life program utilizes an intensive, 14-week process during which victim volunteers and offenders are brought together along with a facilitator. Victim volunteers may volunteer only to tell his/her story of survival, or may volunteer to co-facilitate an entire project leading a small group through the 14-week curriculum.

Requirements

Victims can volunteer to share his/her story once during a project, or may commit to the entire 14-week project. All BTL volunteers must be able to pass a background check conducted by the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ), attend TDCJ security training, and attend the 3 hour BTL training.
