Jawabu Africa seeks to address the physical, spiritual, social and economic needs of the disadvantaged members
of Mathare slums who were mainly condemned to life. The predicament of children youth in Mathare slums
motivates us to engage in community development.
We believe that relief and development strategy as a tool in evangelism leads to opportunities to share the
gospel with the people who are living in this depressing slum, while the programs and projects are designed to
provide the much needed help for the day to day living, the gospel of Jesus Christ on the other hand will be
faithfully presented to assure the people that there is hope of eternity regardless of the challenges that they
face.
