Mission Statement

Missions: First let's start with what the mission is not. The mission is not global praying , the mission is not intercessory praying, the mission is not sacrificial giving, the mission is not great mission trips, the mission is Jesus Christ. If we do all these things unto ourselves without making Christ the center we will ALWAYS run into a dead end. Now Matthew 28:19-20, "The Great Commission", "Go Therefore and make disciples of all nations baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy spirit (verse 20 is very important), teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold I am with you always, to the end of the age." Also James 1:27 says, "Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to visit orphans and widows in their affliction and to keep oneself unstained from the world." These words should never be taken lightly, as you have read the first word of Matthew 28:19 "GO" Our mission here at Oasis-India is to bring a light and a hope to areas in which are full of darkness. There is less than 2 percent Christians in India and less than 1 percent Christians in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India. There are hundreds of millions of orphans in India alone. For every one person in America there is approximately one orphan in India. A child without a mother or father. We desperately want to teach them about God's goodness and that his Son came from his heavenly glory and died on the cross for our sins and arose in three days and has sent his spirit to guide us. And not only the orphans, but the widows, and drunkards and, the billions of people who do not know Christ as their personal Lord and Savior. Jesus does not call just a select few in the church He calls EVERY Christian on the face of the planet.
