Mission Statement


To engage youth by empowering them with skills to succeed academically and socially to prevent school drop-out and to help youth become responsible, productive adults. This is accomplished, in part, by creating healthy relationships and social support to youth, as well as providing integrative information and referral services to their families.

Description


For close to 40 years, the Neighborhood Involvement Program (N.I.P.) Youth Programs have been offered to at-risk children in Minneapolis. The majority of these children and youth come from low-income, single parent families, are children of color, and qualify for the free/reduced lunch program.
