Mission Statement

Vision: McKinney Neighborhood Outreach exists to show God?s love to people in need by building relationships and programs that draw people to trust in Jesus and grow in spiritual maturity and economic self-sufficiency.

Description

Mission: We want to build an outreach to our neighbors that allows us to minister holistically to the entire family. We see education as the key to changing the lives of the poor and disenfranchised we reach. We envision a multi-church effort that allows us to offer a wide-range of educational opportunities to help people grow in their relationship with God (Bible studies and other faith based curriculum), develop the skills they need to better their economic circumstance (language, college prep, GED, computers), and providing the interpersonal skills they need to thrive in society (parenting classes, anger management, community involvement).

Organizational Statement of Faith

The Lord Jesus Christ, God's son, redeems us through His death and resurrection and empowers us by the Holy Spirit. The Bible is God's Word and through it we are called to live out justice, reconciliation, and redemption. The church nurtures God's people gathered in a community to carry out God's Word.
