FRIENDS OF ORPHANS REVIVALMINISTRIES. (FOP-REV) FOP-REV is a non governmental charitable community driven civil society organization developmental organization that helps the poorest, HIV positive children, persons living with HIV/AIDS. It is based on Christian values through challenging, committed long term partnership with international NGOS. Our vision is to empower the vulnerable persons for self reliance, disease control and child rights awareness. Overall strategy is to give hope to the most vulnerable, poorest, and needy.. Mission statement: Ministering love, care and compassion. BENEFICIARIES  Children orphaned by HIV/AIDS.  Children under five years (malaria program)  Widows, youth, child mothers PDWS, abused children.  Elderly, urban poor, pregnant mothers.  School drop outs. ACHIEVEMENTS ‚• The NGO has given out mosquito nets to children under five and pregnant mothers ‚• The organization is registered reg. NGO REG:55914/8262 : WCBO/510/10 ‚• Its has more than 250 registered members. ‚• Registration at Local Levels to the National registrar of NGO board. ‚• Caring for 15 HIV positive persons. ‚• 5 children under our care. ‚• Supporting 52 orphans in school with, basics. CORE PROGRAMMES: 1. home visits to PLWHAs 2. advocacy for child rights 3. community HIV/AIDS awareness 4. malaria prevention measures ( mosquito net giving ) 5. HIV prevention CONDOM giving. 6. HIV BLOODS testing on every25th of the month. 7. child protection and advocacy 8. advocacy and education of orphans and vulnerable children 9. supporting youth, women income generating projects ADVOCACY: CHILD RIGHTS - observe the rights of children - girls have the same rights as the boys - right to education of children - stop child sacrifice - involve children in decision making HIV/AIDS - Stop segregation of people living with HIV/aids. - Right to Medication. - ACCESSILITY TO PWDS - Right To Information about HIV/aids MALARIA Hoping for a malaria free society: - Lets join the fight against malaria - Use treated mosquito nets - Seek treatment for malaria from the nearest health unit. Social Initiative ‚• Education ‚– Primary school ‚– Vocational training ‚• Food Security ‚• Health
