Mission Statement

Infinite Family supports South African orphans and children made vulnerable by HIV/AIDS and poverty by giving them the gift of adult nurture, love and guidance. Through video conferencing and email, adult mentors share their wisdom and experience to help forge a path through the challenging life circumstances these children face to lead them to a bright and productive future for themselves, their communities and their country.

Description

Thanks to the marvels of the internet, Infinite Family helps bridge gaps both physical and cultural between the United States and Africa. Through online video chats, Infinite Family creates a safe and personal forum for adult mentors to communicate with South African children affected HIV/AIDs and poverty. It starts with a conversation, but soon becomes so much more. Becoming a mentor through Infinite Family requires less than you might think. With little more than a PC and one half hour a week, you can be on your way to being a positve light in the life of a South African child.
