Mission Statement

Hope for Ishmael's Vision is: -- To reconcile Arabs and Jews to the Father and each other through the gospel of Jesus Christ -- Minister the Gospel of salvation to the unsaved, that they may come to a saving knowledge of our Savior Jesus Christ and find abundant life in Him ( 1 Tim. 2:4) -- Increase the awareness of the Islamic movement -- Develop programs to counter Islam's agressive strategies -- Equip Christians, Muslim converts and Jewish believers to reach the unsaved Muslims and Jews. Our desire is to partner with churches and organizations that share a desire to reach the world for Jesus Christ and bring peace to those who feel there is not hope.

Description

".....your people shall be my people and your God, my God." (Ruth 1:16b) At Hope for Ishmael, we believe the answer to the Middle East turmoil is not political. It is spiritual. The only peace that can truly be achieved is through Jesus Christ. As a former PLO Fatah fighter under Yasser Arafat, Tass has experienced this first hand. Many other Arabs and Jews have come to experience the same peace and reconciliation to the Father and each other through this vision. The Center for Ministry to Muslims reports there are only 2.73 missionaries per million Muslims. We have no records of the number of missionaries to the Jewish people. The number of missionaries to Muslims is the lowest among any religious group. The need is GREAT! Will you support his work? We believe that God has raised Hope for Ishmael for such a time as this.

Organizational Statement of Faith

We Believe: - The Holy Bible is the fully inspired Word of God. It its the only infallible, sufficient, and authoritative rule of faith and practice. - In one God, eternally existent in three persons: the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit - In the deity of our Lord Jesus Christ, His virgin birth, sinless life, death, resurrection, and return. He is the only Savior of mankind. - Salvation is only found through faith in Jesus through His grace. - In the indwelling of the Holy Spirit and, through this indwelling, the ability to live a Godly life and witness unto Christ. - In the resurrection of both the saved and the lost. - In spiritual unity of all believers in our Lord Jesus Christ, the Body of Christ.
