Mission Statement

Our vision is a community where fail seniors no longer fear where and how they age. We use a network of community volunteers to demonstrate love, and provide, at no charge, non-medical services that build relationships, enhance the home environment, and preserve the dignity and independence of Jacksonville's frail seniors.

Description

We provide services to help seniors "age in place." These services include: friendly visits, grocery shopping, light housekeeping, advocacy, minor home repairs, respite (for caretakers), transportation to medical appointments, yard mowing and cleanup projects, and wheelchair ramp construction. We served over 450 (screened) clients in the past year, with over 100 on our waiting list.
