Mission Statement


The mission of Habitat for Humanity of Greater Chattanoooga is to work in partnership with God and people from all walks of life, to build decent, affordable housing for those who otherwise would be unable to experience the physical and spiritual benfits of home ownership.

Description


HFHGC is a nonprofit, ecumenical Christian housing organization that has been building simple, decent and affordable homes in Chattanooga, Tennessee since 1986. HFHGC partners with volunteers and low income families to spark transformation one home and one family at a time. Houses are sold to our families at no profit and with no interest. Additionally, HFHGC operates are ReStore which sells new and recycled building material to the public at 50% - 75% off retail price.
