Organizational Statement of Faith

1)We believe in one God, that: Created all things Is the Father, the Son (Jesus), and the Holy Spirit Is Holy, just, faithful, pure and righteous Is love, and that He loves you, and every other person that He ever made 2) We believe that the Holy Bible is the authoritative word of God. It alone is the final authority for determining all doctrinal truths. 3) We believe in Jesus, the Christ, that is God?s foretold Anointed One, the Messiah. He is the only begotten Son of God. He is fully God and fully man, that is, God incarnate. He is the only man to have ever lived a sinless life. He was born of a virgin by the Spirit of God. During His life He performed miracles, and He taught the ways of the Kingdom of God. He died on a Roman cross under the procurator of Judea, Pontius Pilate, offering His life as the atoning sacrifice for the sins of humanity. He died, was resurrected from the dead, on the third day ascended into heaven, and sits at the right hand of God, interceding on behalf of us daily. He is alive today. He will return to earth again in power and glory. 4) We believe that mankind was created was good. By voluntary action, we fell into sin. Because of this, our only hope for salvation is in the death and resurrection of Jesus, the Christ. 5) We believe that those who believe Jesus was raised from the dead, who accept Him as Lord, and accept His atonement for their sin, receive new life by the power of God. 6) We believe that the blood of Jesus shed on the cross is wholly sufficient to cleanse mankind from all sin. Jesus took our sins upon Himself, and by his death we are forgiven. 7) We believe that God not only wants us to ask forgiveness for our sins, but also to turn away from them. He wants us to live holy lives with the help of His Spirit living within us. 8) We believe that there is one church consisting of all who have placed their faith in Jesus and His atoning sacrifice, who are heirs to eternal life with Him. The church meets in many different places and worships in many different ways, with all parts contributing to the richness of the entire church. 9) We believe that it is the calling of the members of the Church, individually and corporately, to seek to fulfill the two great commandments as stated by Jesus in Mathew 22:37-39, quoting Deuteronomy 6:5, that we are to love God with all of our heart, soul, and strength, and Leviticus 19:18, that we are to love our neighbors as ourselves. 10) We believe that God sent His Holy Spirit to: Indwell in believers counsel believers comfort believers convict believers empower believers teach believers enable believers to do His will be the believers paraclete 11) We believe that there will be a final Judgment of all human beings, both those who are alive and those who have died, where Jesus, God the Son, will preside. Everyone will have to give an accounting of him/herself to God. Those who have put their faith in Jesus shall be led to eternal life with Him in Heaven. Those who have rejected Him will be sent away to eternal separation from God and punishment in hell.
