Mission Statement


To teach of God's love, His heart, and His healing. To provide a safe environment for women to learn how to practically apply the Word of God.

Description


Glory House is for women 18 and older who want a serious life change. Women who have suffered abuse, neglect, depression, incarceration. or addiction. Glory House helps women recongnize their self-worth and stop the hurt. We have a five-phase program that is six-months in length. Our residents attend classes, participate in various groups, have personal ministry (Biblical Instruction), do independent study, and learn how to live in community with other women who are also in the process of restoration. AREAS we emphasize in our program are: Developing a solid spiritual foundation Developing a new identity by learning who you are in Christ Developing good boundaries Learning who are and who are not safe people Breaking old, bad habits and developing good new ones Understanding and learning to take personal responsibility Relationships developing good ones and repairing broken ones Setting attainable goals Developing Recovery and relapse prevention skills RESIDENT Requirements Must be 18 years or older Must have a sincere desire to change Must participate in all five phases of the program Currently, Glory House cannot take in children or pregnant women.
