Mission Statement

Bishop Ronald Gainer established the Father Beiting Appalachian Mission Center (FBAMC) in the eastern portion of Kentucky to strengthen and increase the resources of the Diocese. By doing so, we will be able to continue to reach people of our diocese ? Catholic and non-Catholic alike ? who are in material or spiritual need or who are experiencing family crisis.

Description

An outreach ministry of the Catholic Diocese of Lexington Kentucky serving the poor of Appalachia in the name of our Lord. Our services include an outreach ministry offering home repairs, providing goods and resources , a thrift store, children's programs, and hosting mission trips for volunteer youth and adult groups from throughout the country. Our warehouse collects and distributes donations throughout the 40 Appalachian counties of our diocese as well as parts of Ohio and West Virginia.
