Mission Statement

Building and Strengthening Community Forming Compassionate Leaders Treating the Needs of Others as Holy Working for Social Justice and Positive Change

Description

We are a young adult service corps dedicated to providing passionate, skilled, and hard working individuals to serve as interns for not-for-profit organizations in St. Louis. Interns accepted into our program live in intentional community together, attend classes structured to broaden awareness of social issues, work for 32 hours a week for local not-for-profit organizations, and undergo a program of spiritual formation and leadership development. Through our curriculum, members develop a spiritual base that brings forth a life of compassion and service. They learn the skills that equip them to bring life-giving changes to individuals, communities, churches, and businesses. We are the St. Louis chapter of the Episcopal Service Corps
