Organizational Statement of Faith

The founder believes that there are two ways to live: * Striving to PLEASE GOD in our thoughts and actions (being pro-COMMON GOOD) * Ignoring to PLEASE GOD in our thoughts and actions (being anti-COMMON GOOD) The founder believes that striving to PLEASE GOD is analogous to being pro-COMMON GOOD (and ignoring to PLEASE GOD is analogous to being anti-COMMON GOOD). The founder believes that a very effective way to PLEASE GOD is to focus on LOVE AND FORGIVENESS by following the example set by God's Son Jesus. The life of Jesus is described in the New Testament of the Bible and helps us to overcome our struggle to fully comprehend the mind of God. The founder therefore believes that CHURCH COMMUNITIES that gather to encourage one another to follow the ways of Jesus are effective ways to encourage the COMMON GOOD (i.e. the ways of Jesus are pro-COMMON GOOD). The founder believes that effective CHURCH COMMUNITIES are in the COMMON GOOD of society (and suggests that it might be helpful for Churches to also view themselves as COMMON GOOD COMMUNITIES or communities gathering for the sake of the common good).
