Mission Statement


Christian Women's Job Corps (CWJC) is a faith based ministry that empowers individuals to break harmful cycles caused by poverty by providing Adult Education, mentoring and resources. We equip the women with: Education and Job Skills needed to obtain gainful employment and self sufficiency A supportive environment where a woman's hope and confidence can be restored. A vision for their future through the development of realistic goals and a plan to obtain them.

Description


Provide GED classes, computer, life skills, ESL and casework and bible study weekly for women in proverty. While the women are in classes, childcare is provided free of charge. Each GED and computer participant has a mentor. The organization has an Ex Dir, part-time Dev Manager, Manager for each of its 3 locations, part-time Volunteer Coordinator and part-time finance manager.
