Description

We are a place-based year of service started by the people of Christ the King Church in Detroit's northwest side. Recent college graduates come from across the country and world to take part in a year of service where they live simply, grow spiritually and engage fully in our dynamic neighborhood.

Organizational Statement of Faith

We are a Catholic program that was created by a Catholic parish. As an urban church, we see the importance of diversity of thought and ideas. From this, we welcome people of all Christian denominations, non-Christian faiths or other ideologies to fully participate in our program. Part of our welcoming statement best reflects this, "We do not seek to erase our differences. Rather, we lovingly embrace the rich and unique dimensions within each of us; this is the wholeness of life."
