No matter what your hurts, habits, or hang-ups may be, there IS hope! Celebrate Recovery offers a safe, welcoming, grace filled, Christ-centered fellowship. At Celebrate Recovery you will find many who are dealing with struggles similar to your own. You will also find a group of men and women who share your desire to be made whole. At Celebrate Recovery, we celebrate God's healing power in our lives through practicing the eight biblical principles and the twelve steps. On the journey of recovery, we understand that we are not alone and that we can begin to experience life again as we turn towards the plan God has for us. As we share our experiences, strengths and hopes with one another, we open the door for growth. The journey continues as we become willing to accept God's grace in solving our problems. By working and applying the biblical principles, we begin to grow emotionally and spiritually. We become free from our addictive, compulsive and dysfunctional behaviors. This freedom creates peace, serenity, joy, and most importantly, a stronger personal relationship with God and others.
WHAT WE ARE AND WHAT WE'RE NOT Things We Are: A safe place to share. A refuge. A place of belonging. A place to care for others and be cared for. Where respect is given to each member. Where confidentiality is highly regarded. A place to learn. A place to demonstrate genuine love. A place to grow and become strong again. A place for progress. Where you can take off your mask and allow others to know who you are. A place for healthy challenges and healthy risks. A possible turning point in your life. Things We Are Not: A place for selfish control. Therapy. A place for secrets. A place to look for dating relationships. A place to rescue or be rescued by others. A place for perfection. A long-term commitment. A place to judge others. A quick fix. We provide a fellowship dinner, worship service combined with teachings and testimonies, and gender specific open share groups!
Organizational Statement of Faith
The foundation of our recovery is our one and only higher power, Jesus Christ. When we continually come back and turn our will and our life over to Christ's care, in time our destructive behaviors lose their grip and we begin to embrace a new life, enjoy peace and serenity, we trust that God is guiding our life and our recovery.
