Mission Statement

South Florida Urban Ministries seeks to partner with churches and organizations to create and expand ministries of compassion and justice in the communities of Southeast Florida. We fulfill our mission by collaborating and working with community organizations and churches across denominational lines in Miami-Dade, Broward, and Monroe counties to help them build strong urban ministries through technical assistance, training, fundraising, leadership development, capacity building, coordination of services, and vision-strategy development. Through these churches and organizations we empower people to move from poverty to prosperity through holistic youth development, small business development and hunger relief ministries.
